A lead with a phone number from the first message
On a website, you have to convince a visitor to leave contact details. On WhatsApp, the person who writes to you has already shared a real, reachable phone number. AI SmartTalk uses that: the first message from a new number creates a lead in the AI SmartTalk CRM, linked to that number, and your team is notified straight away.
The agent then does the qualifying work. It answers the questions that brought the person in — prices, availability, delivery area — and runs your SmartForm questions one at a time in the chat: project type, budget, timing. An email address or another phone number the contact types is recorded on their file, and if it matches a contact you already have, the CRM suggests linking the two. A SmartFlow workflow can push each new lead to your own tools the moment it is created.
What the agent does
Automatic lead capture
A new WhatsApp contact becomes a lead in the CRM with their phone number, the conversation and a lead.captured event your workflows can react to.
Qualification in the chat
SmartForm asks your questions one by one, with branching and optional scoring; on WhatsApp the customer simply types or dictates the answers.
Picks up the details they share
Emails and phone numbers written in the conversation are recorded as declared contact details, so the lead file fills in as the chat goes on.
No duplicate contacts
When a WhatsApp number or a declared email matches an existing contact, the CRM suggests the link instead of creating a second file; your team confirms it from the inbox.
Sales takes over in the same thread
Once qualified, the agent can hand the chat to a salesperson, who answers from the inbox — or from the WhatsApp Business app on a coexistence number.
Set it up
- 1
Connect your WhatsApp number
In Integrations → WhatsApp, click Connect WhatsApp, complete Meta's signup and select the number you advertise on ads, flyers or your site.
- 2
Write the qualification form
Create a SmartForm with the questions your sales team needs and attach it to a workflow so the agent can offer it at the right moment.
- 3
Route new leads
Choose who receives new-lead notifications and, if you use another CRM, add a SmartFlow workflow on lead.captured to forward each lead.
- 4
Promote the number
Share a wa.me link or a QR code in your ads, emails and shop; every conversation it starts arrives with a phone number.
Honest limits
What it does not do
Contacts are filed under their phone number: AI SmartTalk does not read the customer's WhatsApp profile name. An email typed in the chat is recorded but not verified. AI SmartTalk does not send WhatsApp template messages, so follow-ups after the 24-hour window — reminders, offers, nurturing sequences — must be done by phone, email or another tool. On WhatsApp, SmartForm answer buttons are not shown; customers type their answers.
Frequently asked questions
Is every person who writes really saved as a lead?
Yes. The first message from a new number creates a lead in the AI SmartTalk CRM, notifies your team and fires the lead.captured event.
Can I send WhatsApp campaigns to these leads?
Not from AI SmartTalk. You can create templates in the dashboard for Meta's review, but sending them is not supported, so use another tool for outbound campaigns.
Can leads go to my existing CRM?
Yes, with a SmartFlow workflow on lead.captured that calls a webhook, an n8n scenario or another integration.
How much does it cost?
The CRM, SmartForm and SmartFlow are included in AI SmartTalk plans from €9.90 per month, with a 30-day free trial. WhatsApp pricing itself is set by Meta.
